::There's been a lot of changes and re-arrangements made to the domestic terminal to ease the movements of the travelling public and the working staff of the airlines. It is better now with good security monitoring having control over those who just go there to hang around and the genuine travellers. The kiosk outside the terminal as well as in the interior of the building that is serving the public needs to be re-evaluated and measures taken to maintain standards which I believe is dropping.

::The domestic terminal is only 3mins walk down hill from the domestic terminal. At the front door there is a rudenentry initial bag and personal scanning . Check-in counters are sorted by flights. Once you receive your boarding pass you proceed to the departure lounge. You will be asked for a form of id . A further and more exhaustive screening is carried out as you proceed further into the departure lounge. You are permitted to carry duty free alcohol into the departure lounge. The security guards had a little scam of challenging people carrying duty free alchohol in an attemp to get you to surrender it to them so they could take it home. Do not surrender it. If this occurs insist on speaking to the airport manager ( not the security manager) DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL IN THE DOMESTIC TERMINAL. You will be thrown out. I have seen this in the past where visitors get board waiting so hop into the duty free. Inside the domestic waiting area is a cafe and a small shop 99.9% of the time the aircon is good Once you enter the departure lounge it is nearly impossible to get back outside again so purchase the newspaper etc before you go in Generally a clean place but can on occasions become full of frustrated,or the occassional malodourous, passenger Hope that helps somebody
